AEF Study Tours
I am in a more enlightened position to teach Studies of Asia (particularly India for students and staff). I have developed networks both here and in India which will enable continued connections to foster professional growth and knowledge about Asia.

AEF Study Tours are offering an exciting range of in-country experiences which target the national curriculum subject areas of the Arts, History, Geography and the Environment. General interest study tours to Asia are also available to support your professional learning needs.
Study tours for 2010 and January 2011 will be offered in the country destinations of: Cambodia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. See list below. To express your interest please email us, indicating clearly the tour you are interested in.

Art Education Australia Study Tour
The Study Tour for Art educators in Japan will be offerd in the September/October 2010 holiday period in colloboration with Art Education Australia (AEA). AEA educators and anyone interested in Art and Art education will have the chance to visit Japan and meet with local artists and Australian artists residents in Japan at the time of the tour. Business Educators and Career Education Consultants Study Tour
Through new partnerships with Business Educators Australasia (BEA) this study tour will be offered during the September/October school term break. BEA educators and career consultants will have a chance to travel through key economic zones, connect with Australian and Chinese business leaders to learn about the Chinese business environment and how this may influence career paths for young Australians. Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Study Tour
Study tour for Victorian teachers in China will be offered in the September/October 2010 holiday period on behalf of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) and managed by the Asia Education Foundation.
Tailored for DEECD,Victorian educators will be exposed to a range of experiences including ultra modern first tier cities (Beijing & Shanghai) and one of China’s leading second tier cities, (Nanjing) and an overnight stay at the Great Wall at Mutianyu. More information
History Study Tours
Two History study tour programs will be offered in the September/October 2010 holiday period in collaboration with the History Teachers Association of Australia. Through this new partnership, History teachers will have a chance to enrich their understanding of the events which have shaped China, Japan and South Korea today. Enviromental Study Tour to Vietnam
This study tour will offer an insight to the environmental challenges facing Vietnam. Participants will be able to enhance their own awareness of a broad range of environmental issues through field visits, discussions and presentations by environmentalists from NGOs, National Parks staff, academics, representatives from industry and multi-lateral agencies.
