As the child of migrants, Marbyn appreciates the importance of both maintaining and appreciating his Asian heritage and the benefits of living in the diverse, multicultural society that Australia offers. He is fluent in Tagalog (Filipino), is involved in local community events and takes regular trips to the Philippines. Marbyn's work at HSBC has involved many trips to Hong Kong and his current role requires regular tele/video conferences with colleagues across HSBC's Asia-Pacific offices.
