bio

Leah is Senior Project Officer – Multicultural Education at the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Prior to this role, she served as a Senior Policy Officer in the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship within the Department of Premier and Cabinet. Leah has lived in Japan, both while studying at the University of Tokyo and also while working with the JET Program in teaching and translation. In 2009 she completed a Master of Interpreting and Translating Studies. Leah is currently President of the Victoria/Tasmania and South Australia Chapter of the JET Alumni Association (JETAA).
