Julien is a French-Australian writer, educator and community builder, with a particular interest in developing intellectual engagement with China. Since early 2011, he has been leading the Marco Polo Project, a social enterprise aiming to develop China literacy through an online community engaged in discussing and translating contemporary Chinese writing into Western languages.
