bio

Dominique was eight when she started studying Japanese in Bathurst, NSW. This set in motion a lifelong fascination with Asia. After school Dominique went on to complete a combined Bachelor of Asian Studies/LLB at the Australian National University and her career in international trade and investment (and more recently competition law) has since taken her to many Asian countries including China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Dominique currently works on the implementation of the economic cooperation work program under the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). She is passionate about Australians learning languages and engaging with Asia from an early age.
