bio

Renard is a postdoctoral teaching fellow and researcher at the University of New South Wales. His researchexplores ways to encourage companies worldwide to adopt integrated reporting (presenting both financial and non-financial information to stakeholders in a meaningful way) and commit to becoming more transparent about their environmental, social and governance disclosures.Renard grew up in Malaysia, completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and PhD in Australia then worked for two years at Sime Darby, a multinational conglomerate headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. He was a student delegate at the ASEAN-Australia Youth Summit in 2014 and is keen to share his experience of South East Asian cultures with Australian students.
