Penny was born in Shanghai, China and completed her graduate degree in Shanghai Jiaotong University then joined HSBC Bank (China) Co Ltd. She has worked in Shanghai, Hong Kong, London and Melbourne. Penny enjoys sharing Chinese culture and her experiences of life in China with people to help them understand more about China.
