bio

Christine is a children’s and young adults author, writing coach and secondary school English teacher. She grew up in Australia as the child of refugees from the Vietnam War. After completing a Masters in Commerce degree, she worked in the finance industry for ten years where she found great satisfaction working with Asian language speaking clients in the early years of establishing Asian Client Banking in Australia. Christine retrained as a teacher to pursue her interests in teaching English literature and Chinese. She co-founded C3 Education Group in response to a need she observed in migrant communities to better understand the Australian education system. Christine is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to help bridge language and cultural gaps in Australian society.
