bio

Lucy studied Japanese literature during her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree with one year on scholarship at Kansai Gaikokugo Daigaku. She taught English in Japan for 6 years and has also undertaken some interpreting and translation work in the workplace and for the Osaka education board. Lucy currently works in tourism and runs a sushi restaurant in the rural town of Geeveston, Tasmania with her Japanese partner. Her aim is to encourage good relations between Japan and Tasmania/Australia through second language learning.
