2024 STEAM Study Program to China:

Asia Education Foundation and China Capability Centre invite you to participate in an 8 day in-country professional learning program in China.
Explore the Chinese education system and visit top schools in the dynamic cities of Shanghai and Hangzhou. This program focuses on STEAM education, giving you the chance to observe innovative teaching methods in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. You will meet and learn from STEAM teachers and students, gaining valuable insights that you can bring back to your own institution.
Leadership insights are a key part of the program. Attend the 3rd Yinhu International Principal’s Symposium, where you will connect with school leaders from around the world and exchange ideas on high-quality education. Additionally, enjoy guided tours, local food, and entertainment, fully immersing yourself in Chinese culture. Travel with expert guides and fellow educators, making this not just a professional development opportunity but also a cultural adventure.
The program includes visits to three different schools over three days. During these visits, you will shadow school principals, participate in classes, and engage with both teachers and students. After each visit, reflect on your experiences with the guidance of University of Melbourne experts, helping you to deepen your understanding and apply new concepts to your own teaching practice.

$2,900 inc GST for early bird registration by by 31st July
$3,200 inc GST for full-fee registration after 31st July
Program cost includes single-room accommodation, most meals and internal transport in China.
