Opening a Door into Asia at The University of Melbourne

Discover how Asia skills can lead to exciting global careers!

The Asia Institute at The University of Melbourne, in partnership with Asia Education Foundation would like to invite you and your students to Opening a Door into Asia.

This half-day event provides an opportunity for students in Year 9 and above to explore the connections between Asia and their own personal and career interests and goals. They will be assisted in this by university students and recent graduates, university teaching staff and AEF’s Asia Literacy Ambassadors.

The focus will be on the benefits of continuing language study (Chinese, Indonesian, Arabic and Japanese) and on the broader opportunities available to students with Asia skills.

Time: 10am for 10.30am start – 1.30pm 
Venue: Yasuko Hiraoka Myer Room, Sidney Myer Asia Centre, Cnr Swanston St & Monash Rd, The University of Melbourne. See on Google Maps

Opening a Door into Asia is a free event. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
